Charging Regular NiMH's in Rayovac I-C3 charger?

As the title states, can it be done? Will they still be charged in such a fast time? Or can it be done at all?

They charge fine, but at a slow rate. The IC3 batteries have a resistor strip that identifies themselves to the charger to allow the fast rate.

it´s in german.

I heard about there being this version that charges normal cells fast as well. But does anybody know how to tell what version you're getting? I still see rayovac only lists two model numbers, one that charges 2 cells and one that charges 4.

Because of this I gave my I-C3 charger to a friend and bought the Eveready 15 minute charger which will charge any Nimh AA or AAA.
