I have stable of 35mm cameras some of which eat batterys pretty fast. I also have other stuff that uses the 357 size silver-oxide batteries like pen-lights and lasers. Drugstores want between 6 and 8 dollars for 3 cells. Is there somewhere online I can buy them cheaper, but be assured of getting high-quality cells? Lasers seem to put the hurts on them.

have you tried alkaline batteries like AG13? They have less capacity but probably are cheaper for the runtime

I'm only interested in stocking silver-oxide because many of my cameras depend on the discharge curve of silver-oxide (or so the manuals say).

I'm kind of looking for the button-cell equivalent to the BatteryStation CR123s.

Also, somebody told me there was a Energizer 357h that had more capacity than the 357 cell, but I have never seen these 357h cells in stores or the internet.

There was a thread about DX selling large quantities of them (~10-20) for pretty low prices. Maybe not the highest quality cells, but cheap.

Try Home Depot and Lowes. Their small battery prices are cheaper than most places. Check for Lava Lamp button batteries (why they need them I don't know). I found packages that said 357 on them, but they were really LR44's. 3 for $1 at Big Lots. Found them in their small lighting section (not at the big battery display). It might sound unusual, but check your local adult novelty store. Found some LR44's for about 1/2 or 1/3 regular price. I get CR2032 batteries at either Big Lots 4 for $1.90 or at a dollar store where they come with the LED tealights. I'm always on the lookout for bargains, and sometimes I find them in unexpected or unusual places.

depending on how hard it is to replace them you may find that the slightly lower (0.05v) alkaline batteries may work just find but only last about 2/3 as long perhaps but you can get them rather cheaply compared to $1 each for SR44, LR44/AG13/357 can be got for as cheap as 10 cents each here locally.
