You buy them just like vegetables, and just like vegetables they go bad in a week or two.

I would be surprised if these bulbs last more than a year. I bet they have flicker too. And how much light do you think these things actually put out?
Just don't be surprised when you get what you pay for.

I suppose the advantage would be they have a short pay-off time, if we are talking about efficiency and trying to save money.
And at those prices, yuan-pinching Chinese consumers will see them as a serious substitute for CFLs.

This is sad. It looks like desperation on the part of the manufacturers, and I feel badly for those employees who are still waiting to get paid.
