What will fit this flashlight? Also, anyone have any suggestions on how not to scratch the finish when slipping a clip on.

fenix clip is loose.

i dont think id be able to see any slight scratch on that surface - ymmv.

if you find a clip that fits, let us all know please.

to expand a clip to slide it over a torch body with minimal damage, first insert the blunt end of a drill bit (choose one that is slightly larger than your torch) into the clip.

cheers

I've a clip from Essential Gear Dy-507-s (a relatively unknown AAA aspheric light) that seems to fit.

If I were to install, I'll probably wrap the tail with a strip of thin acetate, insert the clip and slowly pull out the acetate. Just a theory.

I, on the other hand, like to use AAA edc with TEC P7 suspension clip. It's discreet and easy to attach. Also, clips that hang onto lights based on tension isn't secure enough for me.

can anyone test it with a quark preon clip?
If it fits, the extra mm may give room for a protected 10440 cell:thinking:

I have used a liteflux lf2xt clip on mine now the last month. Install it when the tailcap is off. Just put it troug the keychain attachment and bend into shape. Looks good, and has good tention. Won't fall off as long as you keep the tailcap on the light. I even have a hard time getting the clip off when the tailcap is dissasembeled and there is less tention holding the clip in place.

My liteflux is always on a keychain so it won't miss it's clip 🙂
Warning, the sharp knurling and good tention on the clip, will ruin your pocket. And the light will sratch up your clip if youre not careful when changing battery 🙂 The light has no marks from the clip yet.
