Re: WTS: Brightest Regulated P60 - 3000+ LED Lumen - PREORDER

I would like one of these hot-rod drop ins, but I have no host. Any suggestions welcomed!

Best,

Bob

Maybe if you get two, they would make for some awesome car headlights

Im going to use mine in a C2 with cryos bezel, but I am no pro with Lego, I'm sure many others will give you a few great ideas.

Question Vinh: does dedoming the MT-G shift the tint? don't really like much under 5000K

Yes. DO not dedome if you don't like warm tint.

Just thought of another question: are 2x IMR 18500's or 2x IMR 18650's OK to run on this dropin - just need to know for what host I'm going to get/use.

Those battery set up works fine.

I was pretty sure they were ok but was checking as I remember IMR's bigger than 123 size was popping the MT-G dropin Vinh was doing, but I know they were DD and these are regulated but can't hurt to ask as I'm buying a new host for this one and 18500 size light isn't too big not really fussed on the length of 2x 18650 and 18350's will give a really short run time.

Vinh, can these be done in the CC reflector to give wider spill and spot?

Vinh do you have some comparison shots of domed Vs dedomed MT-G using the same color balance settings - as I have been told that dedomed is about 3000K which is very yellow IMO so I might have to keep the dome on mine if it's not to late.

No dedome = 5000K which is on the cool side of neutral. Are you sure?
