High, low and emergency strobe.

Uses an optic. Has the typical optic beam, slight ring and not a very smooth beam.

Tint of the beam is on the slight yellow side.

Small and compact. Feels very light on the head.

These are the lux readings I got. I am using a Meterman LM631 Light Meter measured at 1 meter. I waited 2 minutes before taking the readings. I am using the Duracell CR2 that came with the light.

Very compact and simple design. ernsanada, any comments on durability? It looks quite fragile, I guess mostly due to the size and lightweight. In any case, it looks like a great emergency light. Maybe for the glovebox.

Coleman said that they improved the ratcheting mechanism greatly over the prototype version. I have been constantly adjusting the one we have here at the store over the past couple of days, and haven't had any issues so far. Not saying that it will last forever, but it seems like a robust design. Petzl uses something similar on their Tikkas.

Oregon mentioned in another thread that this headlamp takes RCR2s with no problem. I haven't tried it myself, so I'll have to give it a shot when I get home tonight.
