Coleman has released two new and interesting LED lights.

1W Lux or 0.5W Nichia white LEDs, with green and red avaiable via a rotating selector dial on the head of the light. Looks great from an ergonomic viewpoint.

These could be great lights for camping and backpacking uses where preserving night vision is desirable.

These are on hold now until January 2008. We where not happy with the first shipment that came in, and are re-engineering the product for better performance.

I just bought the Coleman Exponents K2 Lantern (4AA). Its ok, but not the best I've seen. Its collapsible and has high/low/"strobe" modes.
