Coleman micropacker - 2 versions

After reading some threads about the new Coleman X lantern, I was looking at some other threads and found the Coleman micropacker. However, like with all led lights, it seems there are 2 different versions - one with 2 x 5mm leds and the latest with a single luxeon. How do they compare ?
I've not seen them in person as yet, just wondering how they work with the somewhat different physical design?

I am glad to see Coleman coming out with CREE in many of their lights. Has anyone heard when CREE versions should be expected?
