Sold/Expired Color options for ceramic coated Surefire's

Re: Feeler: Color options for ceramic coated Surefire's

I'd love one in that Multicam print

At 7 colors, Multicam is to expensive at this point, but here are two more options:

Decorative Cam (not actually hard to see)

Crazy for the orange gear!

Too bad about my bank account...Wait, the purple option might give me some leverage with swmbo.

So, yes +1 on Purple!

Re: Feeler: Color options for ceramic coated Surefire's

Man, if you did other lights in custom colors, I could see a lot of business coming your way. I am definitely interested in 17, as are apparently a lot of other people.

Camo works out to an extra 40 bucks or so, per light

We'll keep counting their votes, but probably come back to actually doing it in later batches...

I wish there were more bright colors to choose from, especially a bright yellow would be my first choice!

It is hard to tell how bright 15 is. Is that white? light grey? medium grey? Depending on how bright it is, it could be my first choice. (For me, brighter and more visible is good, since that makes finding a light easier. I have no need to be stealthy)

The orange (17) looks really interesting too (I have a Malkoff on order so soon I will know exactly how this looks in real life).

I would be most interested in getting a Z2 in these colors. I doubt I would get a 6P/9P.

I've not seen them but we can do bright colors. Yellow would be bright yellow.

We're hoping to try a bright white this time around, it will be brighter than #15

The orange will be more intense then the sample shows.

Once generated, photographs will be much more representative.

Safety Yellow would be rather striking but we may not get to do Z series this time.

#30 looks really good to my eye. Seems to be a nice sage green.

My monitor must be off if #30 is green, to me it looks like medium gray. #22 is the only one I see as having any green to it.

Re: Feeler: Color options for ceramic coated Surefire's

Differences between monitors can be dramatic and there are so many variables.

Amplifying all the colors to absolute extremes, #30 is actually a tad yellow. 28 is surprisingly closer to sage:

The main challenge is that most customers of this treatment are buying alternatives to paint and looking for subdued colors.
We already 'have' anodize, which already and largely comes subdued, so we're (as a group) looking for brighter colors.

Comparing the amped versions to their originals, reveals another surprise. The third most popular color (20) is almost a perfectly darker version of the first most (17).

Special note: Voting closes Monday night!

I'm pretty boring and predictable. I'm down for basic black (#3).

I've got a black ceramic coating on my Baer Custom Carry. I carry it at work daily and it's yet to show any wear. Tough stuff.

Is it possible to have Desert Digicamo? I'm a sucker for anything desert tan or coyote brown, even better with camouflage! Thanks.
