Coolwhite and blue LEDs?

its been a while...has the prices for the LEDs drop yet?

im still looking for some LEDs. need about 3 cool whites Q5 or better. (dealextreme still sells them for $6.30??) also about 5 blue LEDs kaidomain has a 5 package deal for 22.67 which isnt too bad. just need to be sure their P4.

I got a couple Q5's from the shining beam and they are excellent. Perfectly white and equally bright.

$6.30 is close to half of the original price. Don't forget to use the bulkrate coupon. Brings them down to $5.65 each.

Blue is also here (KD is a bad choice).

i have a few but they seem old and when i combined them with the cool whites they seem to be overwhelmed. i guess thats my only choice. other places wants $10+ for their blue leds...man the market suxs now.

your should make your own thread for that question.

but XR-E is just the name of the serie. its the newest one. before it was just XR.

R2 is newer then Q5 but Q5 is easier to get. and is cost efficient.

thanks thats really helpful. but too bad i dont need 1000 leds. well not yet anyways.


their blue led section is overpriced and those are old.
