I'm looking for a corded spot, I don't want rechargeable because of the weight factor. We are also pretty rough so I don't want to spend more then 50 to 75 dollars.

We always used Qbeam 1MC spots, but they are terrible and I'm ready to move forward.

I've searched and it seems like my price range brings up lights with the heavy batteries. Do they make a decent corded spot?

Above your range but the Lightforce 240 Blitz (SL240) is a super-throwing, corded light. It is really in a class by itself. If you look around, I think you can find them for $110 - $120. Well worth the money.

Depending on the beam angle you can get a 120V PAR lamp for a few bucks.

Or, with any 12v lamp spotlight you can use a step-down transformer.
