I guess you will have to wait some time, spacemarine isn't the one to look into cpf too often. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif
Seeing your enourmous generosity in the photon auction, I decided to throw another kydex holster in if you want it. Pm me so we can work out details.
You see, it's always worth it being nice to others. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Kiessling, find out where spacemarine lives and drag his *** to CPF, if you can't wait... /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif I'm sure he won't get mad, after he heard the good news. And due to the vacation, the autobahn is empty /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/buttrock.gif.

Chrisse ... thanx a bunch, of course I'd like a holster! /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/bowdown.gif /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/thumbsup.gif
I just PM'ed Spacemarine so that His Majesty might eventually be inclined to move his a** over here and make his claim /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif .

Pokkuhlag ... the Autobahn unfortunately isn't so empty these days /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/icon15.gif ... so PM will have to do.

Aww,man! /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/icon23.gif I missed it by 5 tickets /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/banghead.gif /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/mecry.gif I knew I should've bought 10! /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/rolleyes.gif

Well, anyway, it was for a good cause & congrats you two lucky dogs! /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/clap.gif

[/ QUOTE ]actually, your ticket started at 540. so, if you had bought 10 tickets, your numbers would've been 540-550. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/tongue.gif i was even closer to the winning number than you were /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/icon23.gif

anyways....CONGRATS TO THE WINNERS!! /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/party.gif

Hmm, possibly Ho71ko has his email adress from our get together? As long as Spacemarine doesn't log in he will probably not recieve the pm.
Holger are you reading this?

Congrats to the winners!

I must admit there is a psychological DOH! when you see your name so close to the winning ticket.

Fortunately, I took statistics and know that all the tickets were as equally close or far away as any of the other tickets.

Still can't help thinking if I had only purchased my tickets a little sooner. One step sooner, anyway. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/banghead.gif

Woohooo!!!

I just got home from a camping trip, and I really couldn't believe my eyes when I got the PM from Kiessling about having won this wonderful light! At first I thought he was kidding me, but then I saw the picture where Sasha showed my name as the winner!

That's not exactly true, I'm at least 5 times a day on CPF if I have the time for that. (Which happens very often) And if I don't have that much time, I'm at least once per day here on CPF. (If it's possible for me to gain access to an internet-computer) You see, you are never alone 🙂

For me it's so unbelievable that I'm the winner, so I think that when I wake up tomorrow, I will believe that this has just been a dream 🙂

I guess you all want to know which light I take. The truth is: I don't know. They are all just too good... If find the titanium and the tungston one the most interesting, but I think I can't choose between these two. What do you think?

I'm sure I will choose the saphire lens, although it will dimm the light by about 4-5 %. But I think this loss is worth the benefits and the coolness of saphire...

Nobody is going to agree with me, but if you plan to keep and use it, I would reccommend the aluminum one. It offers the least weight and highest performance. If you plan to resell it, buy whichever one the most other people suggest you should get.

Tungsten all the way baby. It's special. Almost every other light these days is HA'd AL. Not saying it's bad or anything.

Titanium is the one to go for with Titanium nitride coating, Tungsten is way too heavy according to larry's cr2 thread. Titanium is only about twice the weight of aluminium, but it is sooooooo much stronger. And the titanium nitride coating is a MUST, making it even more durable. Of course the gold look /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif makes it look very expensive, which it is /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/buttrock.gif.

Anyway congratz on the flashlight and please post a review afterwards with beamshots and lots of photo's /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/bowdown.gif.

I think I'll take the titanium one, but I don't know yet if I want a TiN or a TiCN or no coating at all. I think bare titanium looks extremely beautiful, but I also like the toughness of TiN. (Or TiCN, which is even tougher, but I don't know exactly how it looks like. Does anyone have a picture?)

I'm just so happy to get one!

Way kewl - spacemarine was really drooling over the CR2IIs on the CPF meeting and now he´s getting the "best of the best" - as he´s big in Li-Ions anyway I need to talk to Larry about a nice überbright Li-Ion CR2 cell add-on for it /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif

More later /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/evilgrin07.gif

If the raw titanium is the same used for watches it will loose it's nice look very soon when actually used. I would have it coated.
