I used 2 cameras.
This is my tried and true Canon with images resized and AVI videos painstakingly converted to easier internet viewing forms.
Here is a video of the intros of everyone there.
Broadband and flash player are needed for best viewing results.

Here are some still photos.

Here is a shot he got of me and the group.

I ended up doing the rest of the camera work anyways as his cell phone batteries held up and he was on it the rest of the evening. :p

Man, I was a blabbermouth. Didn't I ever shut up! Ohyeah, just once when you were doing the introductions. I didn't realize you were shooting a video, I thought you were taking stills.

Nice get-together. Not often I see a QIII anymore on CPF. Three years ago it was a must have.

Thanks everyone!

Great collection of lights and stuff. I wish I would have had some more time to meet everyone instead of drooling over their lights:drool:

I'll have to start my LED collection soon, thanks for getting me hooked!

3rd_shift, if possible, please include the user names with the pics.

What a week at work........ :ohgeez: :shakehead

Hold on, I'll upload the other videos and pics from my other camera with intros for the stills.
This one won't be as hard as it is my newer Sanyo that does video in mp4 (easier and faster to upload straight from the camera)
And I had it set for taking true 640x480 stills that can also be quickly uploaded straight from the camera.

brb with an edit.....

Edit: here it is.
Left to right in photo below is,
Ledaholic, erckgillis, Lightedge, LEDite, DonShock, DonShock's stepdad (did I get that right?), and Aircraft800.

Here is another video taken with the other camera showing some really bright led lamp assemblies brought by erckgillis.

Looks like a great time.
I'll have to watch a little closer for the next M&G, I'm in Houston with friends in Hillsboro and my mom and sis in GranBury. Not much problem getting up north a little for me.

Thanks for posting and sharing..
X..

X Marine....next time you come up to Granbury give me a shout and we'll get together and get some bar-b-que and talk flashlights.

If "windstrings" is in town , we might be able to have a mini-get-together!

I'll do it Roy..
Need to visit mom pretty soon anyway. And also I picked up a light meter and could use some expertise in using it if any in our area has experience.

Will holler before to long.. Have a few more things to do to the car before I venture to far.

Thanks
X/BillyD..

Great pics!

The 15mcp Thor in the picture is the EXACT one I have, it is the Motor Trend Rebranded one from Pep Boys.

I really like how it looks, and the additions of the battery status indicator and the 12 DC socket are great.
