I always wondered how exactly the batteries perform, West Mountain Radio's CBA II does the job very elegantly and efficiently...

Very cool! Basically nothing more than a programmable load, but wow! Last time I bought a load it was upwards of $3,000 :) Their accuracy numbers are a little wonky, but it looks more than adequate for what it's doing. Very nice. Thanks for the review!

Also you will need http://www.westmountainradio.com/rigrunner/pp_clamp.htm which is 17$ in order to test a cell.

I built my own "Clamp" just had to ensure that current path is not having any obstacles / resistance.

With PP Clamp, you can test any battery sizes up to 2 inches i.e. cells of lengths up to 50 mm ...i think we can even test an 18650, might be stressing the clamp and battery but still it's possible :)

CBA II is a very useful tool.

Yes, it's planned but after 2 weeks. I am awaiting some tools to arrive :)

my make shift battery holder is not sufficient at this moment to do high current discharges.

Got one on the way from batteryspace, along with temp sensor. Thanks for the review! And damn you at the same time :p
