CR123\'s - Half Sealed or Full Sealed?

Hi I am new to this forum but I am trying to find out information regarding the differences between half sealed and full sealed CR123 batteries. Is there a benefit on half sealed vs. full sealed batteries? I have heard rumors but I was just wanting to know for sure.

Additionally I am looking at purchasing the Surefire lithiums since they are priced so attractively. Does anyone know if Surefire's 123A's are half sealed or full sealed?

I have never heard of half or full sealed so I can't help you there.

There are a bunch of threads in this area about paying a bit more for the SF batteries at 1.25 or sticking with the cheaper ones for a buck. I personally use SF batteries, but it may be cheaper in the long run to go with the buck ones.

I don't even know what you mean. I haven't heard of half or full sealed 123s.

Until I hear otherwise, I will assume that it doesn't make a difference. If it did make a difference, then we probably would be hearing people debating about which one is better. I think people are more concerned about brands.

Unless you mean the single or double-packed? Like the CR3V?
