Hi,

I just got a green Photon 3 and was wondering if anyone could tell me the difference in average relative brightness between the 2 CR2016's and the single CR2032?

I've been using the medium and low setting on the Photon with the 2 CR2016's and never use the high setting.

Is the high setting using the CR2032 about the same as using 2 of the CR2016's on the medium setting, etc?

Thanks in advance for your input.

I have not tried this in a PIII, but I did in my PII. HUGE drop in brightness as expected. The only color that I found I was happy with the 2032 in was the Turquoise, with still seemd plenty bright to me. The new green LED just does not work as well with 3V as the first one did. Only PII I have now is a white covert, so I can't check it for you. Should get my purple PIIs tomorrow, so I am excited about that!!!

It is a bit dimmer then the med setting but noticeably brighter then the low setting. If med were 50% and low was 25% I would call it about 40%. The big plus is about 6-fold increase in runtime, and ½ the price for batteries when you do change them.

Okay, thanks for the quick response. I'll continue to use the 2016's then--you can get them cheap enough in bulk.

I was thinking of also buying a turquoise so maybe I'll try a 2032 in it then.

Thanks again.
