I have been thinking of a possible headlamp to build, but there are some issues to work out before starting.
The project should contain:
-One G&P tactical bezel
-One Cree drop-in
-a headmount
-An aluminium backside, threaded into the G&P head, with hole for attachment and cables...negative could be bolted to the backside as the outer spring of the module skould rest on it, the positive coil has to be cut to prevent it from touching ground.
This setup should enable the user to simply change the drop-in as better models come up.
I have only one question!! What size is the threading on the part of the 6P bezel that usually threads onto the flashlight body?
