CREE literature?

after looking at mcgizmo's CREEbar I thought it would be an interesting idea to build my own, albeit a lack of sophistication of course....:green:

as far as I know CREE is the little LED in the P1-CE, but I dont know its specification such as input voltage range and current range....whats even more confusing is www.cree.com , theres 7 different types of "CREE" and after downloading PDFs to see what they look like none of which showed the type used in gizmos bar or the ones used in the fenix.

so where am I supposed to find the specs for it?:green:

The Cree XR-E is the most popular now. Seoul Semiconductor is similar. There are several other companies that make high power LEDs.
