Cree XR-E tint variation

I built a quad Cree M@g using 4 emitters from an order from a reputable dealer. They were ordered with a cool tint. I got the light running and two of the four Cree's defintely look like WG tint. I don't mind having one WG in there to offset the other cool ones, but not two. So I tested the remaining emitters from that batch and put a cool one where a WG *looking* one was.

It looks like I'm going to ahve to individually test each emitter for tint before I install them in the future.

Is anyone else seeing a wide tint variation like this in the Cree XR-E's?

Yes,I've had some WG's that have a slight pale yellow tint,and some that are very white.

I bought 5 Q5's and the tint variation between them was large. They all came from the same batch.
