Is there a way to tell which brand of CRV-3's consist of 2X3V cells in parallel, and which ones consist of 2X1.5V cells in series? If I'm not mistaken, Duracell Ultras use 2X3V cells in parallel...but what about Energizer and other brands? I'm wanting to buy a few of these from the member selling them in B/S/T to use in my TNC AA 350 w/superdown converter; but I'm gonna buy one retail first to see if/how much they'll increase the output of my new treasure! I'm also gonna be getting some 14500 LIons to use (cy tells me this light BLAZES with LIons!). I basically want the 3V lithiums to use as a back-up if I'm in a situation where rechargables aren't feasible. This light has pretty impressive output on a regular AA lithium cell, but I'm hoping to get a significant increase with the 3V lithiums. Thanx in advance for any and all input!

Thanx, BatteryCharger! I'll be off to Wally World in the morning...

"Made in USA" Energizers are seriesed 1.5V cells. The Energizer CRV-3s "Made in Japan" are paralled 3V cells. (Our Canadian members frequently encounter the latter.)
