Hehe, yeah but why make one when I can buy one already made for it. I'm curious to see how he's planning to fasten these since the holes do not appear to be threaded.

I believe they are gonna have a small curved "plate" which will fit on the inside circumference in between the piston and outer "rim " where the lanyard holes are and this will give the screws something to "grab" on to

According to 4sevens, the same way the D20 shots show it to be attached, which is exactly what litetube wrote.

I think I read a post where he mentioned that they would add $1 to the price of the lights. I'm not sure what that means for the price of just a clip.

Do you know if the clips will be as an accessory to be ordered separately or will it be included with future EX10/D10's? i.e. is there any reason for me to hold off a purchase until the clips become available?

No, David didn't drop anything. He is not in charge of manufacturing. That would be a Nitecore issue. David always provides the best of service, with a smile. We need more dealers like him.

They (4-7's) wouldn't even send me an extra oring for my D10 after I broke mine trying to find the right lube for the piston (they said I had to place another order and they would include an oring with that) so I wouldn't say always...................how about usually.

I, too, am eagerly awaiting a clip but in the meantime am making do with one off of an Energizer 1W 1-AA light from Target. It is a snap-on clip but fits really snug and I don't at all worry about it coming loose (especially since I added some epoxy).

yes extra orings are provided for the piston but what i believe he is refering to is the oring located on the threaded section of the body
