D10 in the UK?

Does anyone know where in the UK I could grab a NiteCore D10? The last time I bought something from America I got stung for £32 and I am not willing to risk it again...

Hi,

I bought mine from 4sevens.com and got hit with the Post Office charging £8 to collect the VAT on the torch from me!!

An EU purchase shoudn't incur Duty or VAT charges?

www.neolumen.eu , www.flashaholics.co.uk sell it for ~ £39 but I have never used them, yet..

4sevens.com might therefore end up being a bit dearer, if you do get hit with the VAT (and Duty?) and PO charges. I have made similar purchases from the US before and since, though and did not have to pay these charges?

Fenix-store have been pretty reliable, in my experience.

Just on a whim, I typed in CPF at the checkout and I got a discount!
If my maths is right, it's 8%. Now it costs just £6 more than I could get it at 4-7's - considering the average customs charge is £12 I think I'm willing to pay it.

Is 4sevens stating the true value on his shipping notes now? I didn't order for a while but last time I did he was still quoting value as around $30.

I think I got lucky. Got my D10 from 4Sevens. Deleivered with no duty. Total cost £27.

Usually if a package has a declared value of >£18 you will incur the customs/duty fees. However some companies (DealExtreme for example) mark their package contents as "Gift" which allows up to £36. Often a lower value is declared on the package which will also help you avoid the charges.
