What are the various options for D36 benzels that fit Surefire C/Z/P tubes? Could those with knowledge post sources and perhaps pics of the various benzel options?

I am not aware of any configurations that allow the use of Wolf-Eyes or LumensFactory D36 style lamps on a Surefire... For surefire turbohead applications, a SF turbo head (like the KT1, KT2, KT4) is generally used. for a nearly complete list of D36 configurations.... click on the link in my signature :)

Great thread that you have there mdocod. I've got a few KT heads in hand.

I do believe that Ultrafire or some other manufacturer is Surefire compatible and offers a D36 head, I'm sure that someone knows about it and may have a source at hand with pics.

Just a quick comment on the Lithium Ion Guide, I do not know of any Leef 3x18650 tubes in a C-C configuration ever offered (I even offered to prepay Leef for them if he would custom make them, no go). The only tubes in a 3x18650 setup offered by Leef are M-C configuration. TB made a few 3x18650 tubes in a C head-E tail configuration and I happen to have only one of them. FM's bi-pin towers also offer a world of LiIon bulb choices when combined with Leef and TB tubes and a KT or T head. The 3x18650 tubes also have the opportunity of running a 4x18500 configuration with an 1185 bulb with the FM bi-pin, very bright or even brighter using FM's 14.4V Carley bi-pin bulb from his 1450L.

I included it (3x18650 C-C) as an option in case they started making them... You're right, as of now, it doesn't exsist, but if it becomes available, the chart will be ready to go. I should probably put a note next to that however..

I'll have to check into the TB tubes and FM towers.... I'm not as "in-the-know" about the stuff that we aren't seeing offered through something like a reseller like lighthound. In my experience on CPF, I've found that if it only exists in a sales thread, then it's often a limited time offer, limited run, available 4 months out of the year, back-ordered 6 months, etc etc etc.

as far as your original question goes... I dug up an old thread earlier today. And found reports of compatibility between G&P and surefire "C" style threads. G&P makes a mini-turbo head. The lamps are the same as the G90, G120, G60, etc... but the lamp screws into the larger reflector, the head assembly should theoretically screw onto a surefire flashlight.. but I still don't think it will support a 36mm reflector module...
