I´m looking for a D36 drop-in that´ll be going into my new lego. A Surefire M3 head on a 2x18500 Leef body.

I was thinking one level only, neutral white or even cool white (if that´s going to be brighter) since I am not a fan of the warm white LED tints (I rather take an incan in that case) and as bright as possible 😗.

What would you recomend me for that set-up? A MC-E, P7 or maybe something else?

Hi Eric

I can do a Mbin WD tint MC-E, it will be about another week before I can do P7 since the drivers they sent were 19mm instead of 17mm:sigh:

The MC-E is just rated about the same as the P7. These reflectors do well with the MC-E also.

My wish is a neutral MC-E D36 (WE M90) to be hi/low, using 2 or 3 li-ions and push 2.5A to the emitter on high. I guess I will wait to see what you get in.

I have a few drivers from KD that are supposed to be in that amperage that came out of customs yesterday so they will either be here tomorrow or Friday, USPS has not updated yet today so I am not sure exactly what day.
Now all that said until I get them who knows, the sent 24 that I told you about almost a month ago and they were 19mm instead of 17mm. Hopefully they will be but they will be 3 levels I am sure.

Now the 1.4 amp 2 or 3 level that I run 2s2p that you were not very keen on will be late next week as they are testing tonight and shipping tomorrow. They will take six days to get here if they don't get held up in customs.

Believe me I am hoping to close this hole in the program myself since I can't sell what I don't have:devil:

I actually ordered several of these drivers from an american reseller that had them listed at 17mm and of course they were 19mm and I did not even get a sorry from them.

My fingers are crossed.

If you are going to use this with an LF head and a C style host I must know about it as my reflectors are made for M style heads not C.

I do have a few reflectors that will work in the new LF heads with C style bodies but if not specified I will send M head reflectors.

I did get the 17MM drivers late today but will not get time to test until tomorrow, I will let you know but i would imagine I will be able to make them work.
