Damaged Surefire Hellfighter (connector and bulb). Garbage or not?

Hi there,

I already own two Hellfighter and now I can get my third.
BUT... it got beaten very HARD!




It has a broken connector (every pin is existing) and the seller says, that it might have a broken bulb.
I found the spare connector but I worry, that if the bulb is really broken, i'm stuck with a piece of garbage (or just for the spare parts).
I don't think that the bulb is defective. But I don't want to take any risk.

I already connected Surefire. But it usually takes a long time before they reply.
Also I don't want to send it to them.

Is there any chance getting the bulb and replacing it?

Yes, you can save a lot of money buying the bulb from a reputable source, most sellers on ebay and amazon are selling counterfeits.
Let me see the bulb or get me an OEM P/N not Surefires number, I can probably help you. some detailed Photos of the bulb base and labeling would go a long way.

I don't think that I can get additional picture from the seller right know.
Do I have to open my HFs to get the information?

Do you think that it is possible that the bulb could be destroyed?

What would you pay max for a HF in this condition?
