DB 1500 or SOB 1500, where to buy?
I've seen some mods use Downboy 1500 to drive K2 or Cree, I checked theledguy.com(sandwich shop) and found it has no such board for sale, so my question is: where can I get DB1500 or SOB 1500 from? is there any other driver that can drive emitter at a current more than 1000ma?
Btw, I think 2 parallel DB750 can do the job, but I prefer use one instead of two driver board.

If you get a blank SOB and choose one resistor value as .05 and the other as .10, you'll get 1.5A. It's .05/r1 + .05/r2, so that's .05/.05 + .05/.10, or 1 + 0.5, which is 1.5.
1.5A is kind of a lot. Be careful.

Hi Tigerhawk, thanks for your information, I think these two resistors are too small to solder for me
Dat2zip, can I order a such SOB (0.05ohm+0.1ohm) directly from you?

There's an option on the website to have the resistors soldered on for $3. I'm not sure that 1500mA would be such a good idea though. I've always had problems with thermal cutout when running driver boards to the max spec. It might just be OK with a single LED. If you do have cutout problems then 2x 750 might work.
