DBS V2 vs TK 11

hi, i currently own a TK11, was wondering whether to get a DBS V2. Does it throw much further than the TK11?

Oh I would say better than double the throw.

I have both and yes the DBS V2 out throws the TK11 by at least double. i Love them both.

Something that is worth considering is yes the DBS easily outthrows the tk10, however unless you are illuminating objects at over 200ft the beam can sometimes be too narrow for its own good!

agreed. to be honest I don't find much practical use for my DBS V2 smooth reflector other than for fun and impress the unenlightend :naughty:

I use the OP reflector alot more often, it still got plenty of throw but also a good, usable spill - though no comparison of the flood a smaller-sized-reflector light provides (like a fenix P2D for instance).
