Looks nice! I got the black version of this in the Manker brand. It has a Nichia 219B but not my favorite temp at 4000K. Any idea what this one is? Please say 4500K :)

Received mine today and the only way I can get it to work is by tapping on it. Not very impressed. It looks nice and when it does turn on it has great tint. I'm using eneloops. Any ideas?

I have the Manker brand and in black, but it flickered and wouldn't quite work right out of the box unless I wiggled the head. I kept trying and it sort of fixed itself. I think maybe the contact was dirty. Try cleaning around the threads.

Hmm. I looked around and some of these have a little foam piece in them like an insulator to hold the battery off. Mine doesn't have that. I'll cut a little foam doughnut if all else fails

What should I use to clean up copper with?

Not sure what's best, but a good start would just be a towel just to make sure there's nothing on there breaking the contact. I don't know what would be there, but something on mine made it flicker. I just sort of wiped it off with my fingers.

I've got the light to where it at least works. There is no mode sequence at all but it does produce light. I can live with that. I never intended on this being a carry light.
