Decide between the Nichia 519a cool white or warm white?

I own the LF 3000K E series module. The tint was nice, but I got bored and decided to de-dome it. Now it's about 2400K as @jon_slider shows in his line up shot. Still very nice for night time and indoor use.

I also ordered a custom programmable SingLED module from Tana with a Nichia 519A 5000K emitter. Tana felt the tint was so nice, he decided to add it to his line up of options going forward. He tried to convince me to leave it domed, but I still de-domed it. It is now around 4200K and one of my favorite drop ins to use because I like a bit of rosiness in my lights. If you're willing to spend a bit more for Tana's work and willing to wait a few weeks, I suggest you get one from him with the emitter of your choice.

As for aesthetics, I use the shrouded tailcap (Z68) with the hexagon-shaped head. To me, that head keeps the profile small and compact; the flats also act as an anti-roll feature. I can snap some photos if you'd like.
I see - yes my Aviator also has the Z68 tail cap and I think one of the hexagon shaped heads would look best on it. I'm just not sure which bezel style to go for at this point. LF sells a few different variations of crenelated bezels. I'm leaning towards the traditional "lightly" crenelated design but would be curious to see what your set-up looks like.

Wow! All the advice and input is very helpful! It sounds like I actually couldn't go wrong with any three of the LF Nichia emitters, the only exception being if the Nichia 519A 5700K isn't high CRI. I might contact LF to make sure it's not a typical low CRI high Kelvin output in the 5700 emitter. Even if it is, the 420 lumens of output would still be a noticeable bump up from the stock Aviator's 250 lumens, assuming LF is advertising OTF lumens and not emitter lumens.

Confirmed with LF customer service, the particular Nichia 519A 5700K cool white emitter option they offer is NOT high CRI:

"The cool white 519A is not the high CRI variant, therefore it is not indicated or advertised as so.

The 519A 3000K Warm tint is R9080.
The 319A 4000K Neutral tint is 80-CRI."

I'm honestly kind of surprised the output difference between the 5700K 70 CRI and 3000K 90 CRI is only 40 lumens.

Well, Warm it is. I went with the 3000K option. Hoping it's a nice change of pace. Just for good measure I also ordered a cool white 5700K module for the M6. Now I'll have basically the entire Nichia emitter range in various lights laying around the house: Warm 3000k, Neutral 4000k and cool 5700K from the LF store.
Also got the Flat bezel HA Black Aluminum square E1 head unit to put on the Aviator body.
