diameters.. please help me out

I ordered this flashlight mount for my AR, and stupidly diddnt read the diameter.. and thought it would fit my gladius, why would a company even make a mount thats less than 1 inch?? thats stupid but anyways which weapon usable light has a diameter between 0.71"-0.81" diameter????

SureFire's E2e, L4 and E2DL are 0.8" body diameter and SureFire offers it's own mount (model M78) for such slim flashlights.

Thanks, any other brands offer this kind of diameter what would be weapon proof?
