I had some of the Diamond K2 leds that I had been using in my 3d mag. I was
trying to think of a way to use them in my much lighter 2c, When I read a thread about the cheap led lights from Dollar Tree that have a 3Xaaa holder
in them. I picked up a few, loaded the holder with 3 aaa lithium primaries,
followed by a dummy c cell, and presto, a very bright led in a lightweight
2c. The white K2 was brighter than the Mag 3W dropin with 2c's. My "cyan " K2 was , as warned, traffic light green, and not true cyan, but still pretty bright.
I found 2 of these battery carriers (6Xaaa) would also run my 2c ROP low.
My next step is to obtain some aaa Nimhs and try that setup.
