Did the Surefire Sidekick get a revision at some point?

I bought one of these in January this year and misplaced it, then another in August.
One of them seems to have a warmer color tone and an observably darker lens or reflector,
and the overall light output seems a little lower. I wasn't sure if I was imagining things till I found my
original one the other day and compared them. The button press on the newer/brighter
one is also more distinct. The dimmer/warmer one has an Axxxxx serial number, the brighter
is a 1F-xxxxxx. The Axx one on the back has a different font and whiter ink and the QR code
is slightly larger as well. Both are fine, I actually missed the very low output of the low mode
on my original one but the more distinct click of the button is nicer on the newer one.
Both were sold by/shipped by Amazon fwiw.

Your experience mirrors mine. My SideKick with Axxxx serial number is less bright than my two (2) SideKicks with 1F-xxxxx serial numbers. Its very noticeable to me too.

Interesting. Since it's obviously noticeable, did the rating(s) change?

Good question, if we had some packaging for each to compare that would be helpful.
