Difference between Luxeon V & Luxeon V Portable?

Subject pretty much says it all... any ideas?

Luxeon V = green and blue
Luxeon V portable = white

They had to differentiate the two products due to lifespan problems with the white parts

Ok, I checked the Future Electronics web site and it has white Luxeon stars listed for both the portable & the regular... is it just a difference of lifespan then?

No, it's a mislabling on Future's part. All Lux V whites are under the "portable" label.

Make sure you're not confusing regular luxeon whites with Luxeon V white. I just looked at future's listing of Luxeon products, and didn't see a White Luxeon V part that wasn't labeled "portable"
