Hey!

Looking for a dirt cheap battery. Needs the following:
48v, 1000w continous. So roughly 21A constant discharge.
Highest possible mah/wh. Minimum 10000mah.

Came across the following, two in parallel would be 72000mah and 26A constant. Are these figures b*****hit? Seems way too high to be true.

Some expert opinions appreciated ;)

The batteries will be encased in a fireproof bag/box. If the capacity seems too high, what is a reasonable guess on actual capacity?

Thanks!

12 series 4 parallel 48 batteries of quality.havent bought any in a few years but 8 per? Plus build cost. Ok 5 per Samsung 30q bulk so 200$ plus in batteries alone for your wanted spec. That advertised pack is probably garbage.

Those specs are a total fabrication. Based on the size, the cells would have to be 18650s. To get 36Ah from a 3P pack you'd have to have 12Ah cells. That's over three times the current state of the art.

Anyone who's going to lie like that isn't going to give you top-quality cells, so that pack is probably more like 5-8 Ah, and total garbage, as herektir said.

I just checked LiIonWholesale, and their most economical 18650 is the Samsung 25R, 2.5 Ah, 20A rate, at $2.97 each when you buy 50 (you'd need 52). With 13S4P, you'd get nominally 48V, 10 Ah, 80A rate. Cost of cells would be $154.44 plus shipping.
