Wow, that is amazing fantastic work, thank you Lucca Brassi. I gain a lot from your post I am desperately searching for long long time.

Really a piece of work.

Hi, Lucca.
You replied to me on ScubaBoard today concerning underwater housing for Canon 550D.
Could you please tell me if this momentary toggle switch would work underwater properly without need for additional protection? http://www.apem.com/pdf/MT.pdf

It's from one of your links. I'm also considering toggle switch with lever and hexseal boot with it. Do you have idea which option would be better?
Thank you.

Hi Lucca,

The Sandwich Shoppe is also a great resource for various parts.

Good thread!

Edit: Missed it the first time reading, but you do have a link to the Shoppe's 14mm sammies. However they have a bunch of other stuff as well.

Great list, thank you.

Some minor things, Finnsub is not a finnish manufacturer, I believe they are from the Czech Republic. On the other hand there is also Scubamafia from Finland http://www.scubamafia.fi/torches-accessories-umbilical-lights-c-27_29.html . I have not seen their torches, but they claim to somehow get a 7° angle with triple XML, I wonder if this is just a bit optimistic or what optics they might use.

you are right ;-) , scubamafia is under DIY- stores but , will be add also as producer

Re: LIBRARY - DIVE LIGHT TESTS, COMPARISONS AND TEST PROCEDURES

Very good job . I think i will improve more

I'd also like to add a Big Thank You for all that work lucca – it's A Really Valuable Resource.

Something to add, if you think it's appropriate:
http://www.aqua-lux.com/aqualuxe/html/rahmen.htm
- a German dive light manufacturer.

(I have an Aqua-Lux Laser – not a laser at all, just named that way. It's a magnificent unit: 280x68mm, 1,4kg / 11x2.67", 3.1lb. The tailcap is an 11mm depth of aluminium solidity. It was discontinued about 7 years ago).

EDIT: Sorry - discontinued in 1998, 16 (!) years ago.
