great thanks...but i was wondering, wouldnt i want a 2.5 out put. wouldnt it be more brighter?

Yes 2.5A is too much for that emitter. If you do a VERY good job heat sinking the emitter you could go to 2 amp or so. To be honest I think the best thing to do is go with the 1.4A driver, but if you really want to go harder than that you can get the 2.5 amp driver and remove a couple of the 7135 chips from it and run it around 2A.
