Do you know SureFire L5 LumaMax?

Hi, I have just seen the SureFire web site and about SureFire L5 I have read this writing:
"Maximum output of 65 lumens white light for one hour, followed by over 2 hours of useful light. Total runtime 3+ hours."
Do it mean there are two levels of output?
Can you explain it, please?

No, not two levels... Its just that the head is regulated and will drop..

When you put in new batteries you will get the "high" light.. then at ~ 2hours the light will drop to a lower level..

No, different lights have different behavior. L5 is good, I've been carrying it in my belt pouch for 1 year......until last week I bought the KL1+FB1
