When I run at night, I carry an UltraStinger, an MP3 player, and a Benchmade 710.

I (walk and) carry a light but rarely use it. I gave up assuming they would see me.
I get out on little traveled country roads and walk facing traffic until a car comes then cross over until it's past.
On teh rare occasion where there is two of them I move to the wider side of the road.
MP3 player wiht old time radiom shows, small light, cell phone, and 2 way radio.

At night when walking the dog one of the cheap white Photons is attached to her collar which makes spotting the dog easier for car drivers. This includes jogging.

I usually don't have any stuff on me while jogging except for the pulsmeter. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/blush.gif

I carry a L4, my 3rd gen Ipod, and a Platatac Alpha. Inside that Alpha is 2 litres of water, and my L6.

the L4 helps out, i don't go follow a set path and go exploring.
