Why do I only see Energizer AA & AAA Lithium batteries on store shelfs?

Why no Duracell AA & AAA Lithium batteries?

I do remember using Duracell lithium 9 volt batteries at one time, but they were for medical use only, and i used them only for that. Don't know if they still make them now as this was before the P&G buyout of Duracell I do know Panasonic makes C size lithiums but they are 3 volt cells rather then 1.5
Hope that helps...

In the United States,
you will only find Energizer brand Lithiums (AA & AAA) on the store shelves.

An issue of Copyrights and Patents, as i recall.

These are available in Australia.

Yup, I have both, and as far as I can tell, they are about the same for use in lights, camera flash and laser pointers, so far I haven't been able to kill a set with anything else (i figure my wall clock could go a year or two on a single cell...)
