does anyone have beamshots of the MAG85 or FM 3V/H

been hunting to see just how bad A$$ these really are. if someone has a beamshot please post or point in the right direction.

OK this should be my FiveMega widebody with 3 168A pila's pushing a WA1185 bulb with FiveMega 3" head (so its a mag85)

Now this is the same set up but with the stock head

Very nice pitures. But, I think I'll save myself $120 and stay with the stock head for my mag85. It really isn't that bad of a thrower without it anyway.

Fivemega 3" head is a work of art, and the throw is amazing.
I ranged (with a laser range finder) 243 yards to a stop sign.
The reflector is not only big but very deep and the LOP makes the beam surefire quality.
Don't put it down if you don't have tried it!!!

Ditto what Juan said. Don't put it down until you've seen it in person. JimH's unit is why i bit the bullet and bought it, and boy am I glad that I did...

wow, that's one heck of a hotspot with the 3" reflector compared to the stock. Just looking at the photos, I can tell I've spent my money wisely (well atleast thats my story and I'm sticking to it)

Pictures really don't do justice to the FM head, both in terms of how it looks in the flesh and in terms of how well it puts out light. The tree in the above picture was not very far away, maybe 50-60 foot. I don't think you'll find anyone who has got one that dosn't praise it, link to cropped versions and other beamshots
