Don\'t get sweat on your SureFire
This goes under the bizarre topic - but the surefire 9N has 2 exposed terminals for chargng - one day I was using my 9N in the attic brazing some refrigeration tubing - and I was sweating like a pig. The sweat (a great electrolyte) got into the 9N between the case and the charging terminal, which was live.
The result was it reversed the anodizing process and took the black finish off the light and put it on the charging terminal!
Fortunately, I was able to clean up the mess after I got down from the attic, but it still was very disappointing - other vendors put diodes on the charging contacts to prevent any external current flow.
