Hello. I got a chance to get this one cheap.

Is tkat any good host for modding? POint me direction please
Reflector replace, Luxeon swap etc? Or it is just a waste of time and money?

An emmiter swap would be really easy, and should make quite a difference.

Thanks for the complement - I try - I do have a KL-1 that is giving me fits, refusing to let go of it's 5-watt goodies. I also have a Mag 2XAAA that I kileed the reflector on and put on a back burner. I've done 5 or 6 ARC upgrades to Nichia CS's, and killed one there - that hurt bad - I still have the dead ARC board, but need to figure out how to fix it.

That's the upside of being cheap/poor - you get really good at making cool stuff yourself!
