I've been trying out some DP batteries for the last two days and so far they are working as good as Surefires. In my Mag 2C/3x123 mod and Streamlight NF-2, there doesn't appear to be any difference in brightness.

The DP batteries are good for $1 a piece. I currently will use them in my family and my SL TT 1L's.

I did a run time test with the DP's and Kodak 123's. From that test, Kodak 123's have a flatter discharge rate than DP123's. The DP's dim faster with constant on, but has usable light for a little longer. Plus I get Kodaks for a good price.

JasonC8301,
Where do you get the Kodaks? On the web? The DP batteries are a good deal at $1. I've made a couple of orders for 50 of them. It came to like, $56 delivered for each order. The thing is, everyone compares the DP's to Surefires. If you want Surefires, get those. There's not that much of a price difference if you order over $99 from Surefire. The shipping is free, so you get the Surefires for $1.25 each as opposed to the $1.12 each for the DP's. In constant on tests, especially with incandescent lights, the Surefires do outperform the DP's.

I get the Kodak's from well, my boss, doesn't cost me a thing.

SF's for $1.25 and DP's for $1.12 are the two hot tickets right now. Kodaks aren't mentioned much here.
