DPSS 5 Module- Anyone have mod tips or schematic?

Quickly tried the pot mod with a wire but it seems to cut out when i touch the case. Would this be the work of the dreaded feedback circuit? The pot on this one seems to have less range than on the leadlights.

Anybody have a schematic or played around with this one?

If you mean a Z-Bolt DPSS-5, I have one and just turning the pot made it 3-4 times brighter. I was running it up to 1 hour mounted to a heatsink. It lasted 10 hours and I have not got aroung to figure out was went wrong. I did hold a leadlight driver and diode to the back of the DPSS-5 and got a wierd shapped 1/4 mw green beam. But I dont know the condition of the leadlight diode/driver because it came from a pointer that only does 2mw green.

Bump.

I think this assembly uses the same system as the Leadlight GPL110's to control the light output. (the two wires going into the diode casing) Anyway to bypass it?
