So i have a couple of bike lights that each use 6x xpg2 in series, running from a maxflex driver with a 4s (14.8v, 16.8v fully charged) battery.

They have been working fine for years but seems one of the maxflexes has died. It seems George at taskled doesn't make them any more!

What could i use to drive 6x xpg2 in series from 4s lipo? Or i could have two parallel sets of 3x xpg2.

Could I use the b3flex to run two parallel strings with a 3s (11.1v, 12.8v fully charged) battery? 3x xpg2 vf @ 1.5A is approx 9.3v per string. To have both strings @1.5A i would need to choose the 3A output correct?

Could I use a 4s battery for this or would the voltage difference be too high?

Original maxflex was 0.9 inches in diameter and just fits. I think nothing over 1" in diameter would fit.
There is an area in the light to thermally attach the boards heatsinking area to.

Any other drivers fit the reqs?

Thanks for any help.
