Having issues! I've had my quad for about 3 months in which time I've entered programming and switched mode groups multiple times. Recently I changed the battery for a fresh one and it only has one mode at 100%. I try to enter programming as I've done many times before but it will not work!! Any ideas why or how to fix this? If the driver is burnt out would I still be getting light output? Thanks

Very hard to say without me taking a look. The repair should be free. [email protected]

So I know you were losing sleep over dreams and thoughts about your driver... Anything you can share? Higher highs? Lower lows wink wink?

Hmm - my quad module resets occasionally to single mode (max)
Had it do it while on low.
Host is a zerorez twisty and cells are raw 18650BD & they don't shake around or anything.
It's only doing it every once in a while tho & as long as it doesn't go into a low mode not a huge deal.

If there's an easy fix I can do here I'd rather do myself than send it in as I use it quite often this time of year ;)
I'm semi decent with a soldering iron haha.
If anyone else wants to pipe in with a solution and save Vinh some time replying please do!

Cheers.

I know exactly what's wrong. You need the most updated DriverVN2 to handle the high current. You can ship back for the upgrade.

I have a D25cvn with the original drivervn. After sitting without a battery it has reset itself to high only. I can't seem to find the video for the original driver. Does it still exist somewhere?

EDIT: Nevermind. I figured it out.

Driver VN3 here does not match the modes (namely double tap for 100) on your website. Not sure which is correct, but hoping more than one setting has the double tap for 100 available. Thanks!

And is VN3 available for all lights now? May want to start ordering soon if so.

Check on his website for the lights that have drivervn3 available. I just sent in my G25C2vn for the upgrade to drivervn3 and I like it. I use deck 4 of 10-4-4 and find the double tap for 100 works well. I also use 10-7-5 in deck 7 for work and find the double tap works fine as well.

I don't see a specific list on his site showing which ones take vn3 and nor do I know which description of functionality is correct, here in the thread or in his website since they do not match.

I don't think he has a specific list on the website that shows each light that uses drivervn3 but I think that is because any light that has a tailswitch and once used drivervn2 is now using drivervn3. Also on the website he has the driver section that has the current decks for drivervn3 which I believe is accurate. At one point I tried using the double tap options for decks 5 & 6 and it didn't work. Currently I don't see D for double tap on the website so I'm guessing it's been updated for deck 5 & 6. I do know that 10-4-4 works for the double tap since I'm currently using that deck mode now. It's a nice driver and imo superior to drivervn2.

Alright, I just need some definitive answers to which ones it is available for and which list of features is correct. Thanks!

To find out the ones it's available for I think is just individually check the lights on the website. Features wise I'd email him.

Re: DriverVN & DriverVNX - Programmable Circuits

Just wanted to add that driverVN and driverVNX are different.
VN is for physical switches that literally lock out the light when off.
VNX are for those electronic switches that still have a small parasitic drain even when off.

So far, I think he has a driverVN3 but not a driverVNX3.

Good info just reverse the part of what he currently has. Drivervnx3 is not out yet though drivervn3 is.
