Maybe have another option where you switch the modes in number 20 around to where it starts at 100% then ramps down to ML and then the strobe

Or change 20 to have memory

Biggest thing I would like to see is a mode higher than 40% but not 100%...maybe 70% or so?

Adding another set might makes more sense. Memory add complications to lots of modes.

+1

Vinh, I love that you added the 70% mode but I like what oneinthaair has more where it's just a consistent ramp up. His final mode would be my go-to if it existed.

Re: DriverVN - A User Programmable Circuit!

PS_if you add more modes, is it possible to reprogram an existing DriverVN or would it have to physically be replaced with a new one?

These mode spacing sounds nice but our eyes does not perceive light linearly so they might not turn not well spaced.

New driver is needed. It might be a long time before DriverVn is updated. This is just a work in progress.

The spacing I have now on DriverVN is very well spaced visually to the eyes. After all what we see is more important than how nicely divided the numbers are.

Great! My first one is on the way and I'll certainly be using one of the multi-mode options with the 40% and 100% levels so it'll be nice to see how the progression looks to the eyes.

ML and 1% seem redundant. I use ML a lot more and see no need for 1%.

for me the last one is good. Most programs, pretty much all, have a large gap from the the last setting to 100%. The PD35 have a great program. When it shifts from turbo, to the 4th setting, it is still very bright. I have 2 x 18650 cell Hound Dog, a wonderful light, great throw and great spill on high. Low is pretty dim in comparison, but certainly better than no light. YMMV.
