Dropped my M4!

Greetings everyone,

I purchased a like new M4 for ome of the guys on the forum, and was very happy with it. I did notice a crack in the lens after about a week or so of posession, and called SF to find out what could be done. They stated that I should send it in for replacement, but that it might take 2-3 weeks.

I was just about to leave for vacation to Newfoundland and was looking very forward to bringing my new light with 2 a19 extenders, and 2 Pilas to light up the dark Island at night. They said that I should take it on vacation and just send it in when I got back.

While on vacation, I dropped the light, and it hit on bezel! There is a nice gouge on it about 3/4 of an inch away from the break in the lens.

I still intend to fix it, but I told them at first that I did not drop it. I don't want them to think that I was lying, and pur the screws to me for the replacement of the lens.

Any thoughts on this? Anyone have a new M4 bezel that they want to sell me for cheap /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif ?

I think they will fix it any way. Give them a call they should fix the lens wether they adress the gash or not.

yeah surefire customer service is pretty good and i'm sure that they have had to deal with some lights much worse than yours dealing with the military and all
