I wasn't expecting much, considering the price. But I could say the same about my Ultrafire WF-139. The difference is, the Ultrafire charger actually works.

Here's the problem, the DSD plugs into the wall outlet just fine. But plugging the other end into the charger itself is an issue.... It won't go in all the way. Trying to force it in, doesn't work. The red light on the charger does come on, but the cells aren't getting the needed "juice."

I'm about ready to chuck this thing into the trash can. Anyone else experienced something similar with this charger? If so, is there a solution to this problem?

(Other than buying a Pila IBC Charger).

I have noticed that certain cellphone adapters would fit. Just have to find the right one; in terms of input, output, and making sure the plug actually fits properly into the charger. If that doesn't work, then I know the issue is with the charging cradle itself.

Also a long time ago I lost a power adapter for some speakers I think. Radio shack had some with adjustable output and a selection of modular adapters to fit many kinds of phones/electrical devices. As I remember it was kind of overpriced though.

Thanks for the links. (Wish I had seen those topics before buying the DSD).

I have a couple of old Nokia adapters lying around. I'll check those. If they're not compatable with the DSD, I'll head over to RadioShack.

Thanks again for all your help. :)
