dud batteries ??

Hi: new guy here..

I just bought a Maha MH-C9000 charger from Thomas Distributing along with 2 packages of 4 cell AccuPower AAA 1000 mah NiMH batteries.

I ran the break-in function on the 8 batteries (once only so far), and from what I have read here the results don't seem to be right. Before I contact Thomas Distributing I thought I would get an opinion here as to whether the batteries are defective or if the results are typical.

The results are the capacity of each cell displayed on completion of the function.

Those results are not good at all.

The "best" battery is 16% below rated capacity.

Hi,

Quite often manufacturers overrate the batteries. For a 1000mah cell, it would be understandable to see 800-850mah with lower quality cells. For yours I'd expect 850-900mah.

But as you have some that show capacities way way below I think you have some duds

You sure those numbers were not how much energy was put into the batteries, not taken out?
